Hello everyone
Help me to link these pairs of clauses using "after", �before", "until", "" when", " while", please. 1) ... you were in London did you go anywhere? while?
2) ... you leave, switch off the light.�before?
3) Wait here ... she comes.�until?
4) We went for a walk ... we had done our homework.�after?
5) ... she was away, they looked after her dog.�while?
6) ... the renovation is finished , they can �t move into their house.�until?
7) The road is closed ... the repairs to the tracks are completed. until?

2) Switch off the light before you leave
3) Wait here until she comes
4) We went for a walk after we had done our homework.
5)They looked after her dog while she was away
6) They can �t move into their house until the renovation is finished
7) The road is closed until the repairs to the tracks are completed

or
Did you go anywhere while you were in london? Both action happened at the same time
2.Before leaving, switch off the light.
3. wait her until she comes . ( imperative )
4. After we had done our homework, we went for a walk. ( one action happened after the other, the first one should be in past perfect tense)
or
After having done our homework, we went for a walk.
5. While she was away, they looked after her dog.
6. They can �t move into their house until the renovation is finished.
7) The road is closed until the repairs to the tracks are completed.

In the US, I think most people say "When you leave, switch off the light", since you usually need for it to be on until you leave. I definitely agree with all of your other answers.

Call me awkward, Bruce, but I tend to switch the light off then leave - in that order.
