I don �t know if it is correct to say " Sixteen oh five, or sixteen and five.

to read it as a date is the sixteenth of the fifth. (sixteenth of may) as a number sixteen hundred and five (one thousand six hundred and five) or sixteen o five. |

mumof1 has a good point: is it a year? is it a date? is it a number? Each of these has a different way of expressing this and I think most if us have assumed that it is a year
