Dear collegues
Could you please give me some tips about teaching regular and irregular verbs to 5th graders..They like games but I can �t think of a useful and simple game..

You can play a domino game or a board game. There are many games here. Just enter the key word and you �ll find lots. |

There are lots of boardgames too.
Or a dice with signal words - last week, yesterday, 3 weeks ago etc...
rewrite a story in past simple...
reported speech
whispering game - S1 whispers a sentence "I swim every week."
S2 reports: Maria said that she swam every week.

You can find some wonderful ideas discussed here some time ago
I tried Mena (mena22) and Julia �s (juliag) ideas and they worked great with my primary students.
