WORD OF THE DAY FOR FRIDAY 3/12/2010

Good morning everyoneSmile

Nancy (GIOVANNI) has given me the privelege of choosing  the Word of the Day. (Thank you, Nancy! )
You know the rules of the competition. Dont look it up, dont google it, and if you know what it means, either keep the knowledge to yourself or join in and give us the craziest and funniest meaning.  The winner is declared at midnight Spanish time.
The WOD for Friday 3/12/2010 is
dapocaginous. Let s start the game and get some real daffy-nitions!!!
    Good luck!

I totally disagree with douglas!

"dap" comes from the word "dub" meaning dub music
"cagino" comes from the word "chino" meaning cappucino
"ous" give us an adjective.

So if I say
I had a dapocaginous day ... means that I had such a relaxing day which was like listening to dub -reggae music and having a hot cappucino and some good chocolate cake during a rainy day within the house with the fireplace being lighted

We all know how language changes and evolves over the years. Dapocaginous is a word used to describe Vkoda lsky arguably one polkas great interpreters known world over for that great polka Roll Out the Barrel.  If we look closely at "dapocagenious" we see that it was originally the phrase the polka genius.

Following the WikiLeaks scandal all the diplomatic correspondence is going to be encoded, the term dapocadinous provides us with an example of such encoded communication, it stands for:

"Damn persons of concern agreed (with us) (and) issued no objections or suspicions".

- Well, what did they say?
- They were rather  dapocadinous...

Ouch

Dapocaginous is the person responsible to put da gin in us so that we can really do a mean
polka.  He or she is responisble for poking or spiking the punch bowl with the gin when no one is looking.
