							| Hello everyone,   I have a question for you. What is the correct thing to say?   "Parthenon is in Greece." Or "The Parthenon is in Greece."     I opt for the second option but I m not 100% sure.  I would appreciate some feedback.   Thank you for your answers. | 4 Dec 2010

							| If Parthenon was a city it would be "Parthenon is in Greece", but the Parthenon is a unique (specific) object so we say "the Parthenon is in Greece". | 4 Dec 2010

							| Most (famous) buildings take the definite article.
E.g. the Tower of London, the Coliseum, the Taj Mahal, the Louvre etc. | 5 Dec 2010
