CHRISTMAS FILM SUGGESTION
|
Hi. I m thinking to show a christmas film to my students. They are 11 years old. I thought about Rudolph but I think it s too childish. Have you got a suggestion? Thanks Catia

Hello! I think that The Grinch is a great Christmas film for children. I m sure that it would be appropriate for your students. |

How about It s a Wonderful Life? That s a great Christmas movie for teens or adults. |

I think It s a Wonderful Life is too complicated for 11 year old ESL pupils. Kids at 11 don t think in abstracts yet. The psychology of knowing you make a difference in life would probably be too difficult for them. Remember that kids are kids -
Rudolph is fine. So is Charlie Brown s Christmas The Santa Clause The Muppet Christmas Carol Disney s Christmas specials. (short cartoons) Miracle on 34th street How the Grinch Stole Christmas (it s a bit hard because it s in rhyme) Home Alone 1 and 2 (If you go through the story with the class first) The Little Princess
Hope this helps L

Curly Sue is a nice one. Miracle on 34th Street definitely... It all depends on how Christmassy you want it... or just wintery... |
