							| Words that have more than one meaning
 |
							| I have been putting together a presentation about variations in English for example a picture of Candy Floss: with sound buttons (by native English speakers from USA/ Canada/S.Africa/England and NZ) that give the different ways that various English speaking countries say the object (candy floss, fairy floss, cotton candy etc)
Then at a meeting yesterday someone said what about adding...

 eg:

Squash: something to be flattened/ a watery fruit drink/ a sport/ to squeeze in close together/ a vegetable

What I am after are ideas like the Squash one. COMMON words/things that have a variety of meanings.
I have been thinking so much along the other line of thought that I just cannot for the life of my think of a whole list of words like this.

Suggestions??? I promise to post the finished presentation when it is done. It is for an exhibition in my city for International Mother Tongue Day. :-) This is one part of the English contribution.

							| Thanks for the suggestions :-)
I am looking specifically for when the word is spelled the same and sounds the same but has different meanings...like the example "squash"
