Does anyone know a good activity to practice Wh questions. I have elementary students that are not good with asking but are great at answering. Any ideas?

One option could be to use a variation of Lateral Thinking Puzzles (see http://www.eslprintables.com/forum/topic.asp?id=25577 )
I have started using these allowing sts to only ask closed (yes or no) questuions. You could try it with open questions. The puzzles would be much easier, but it could possibly work.

"Find someone who..." activities are great. Students need to go around asking questions in order to find people who meet certain criteria (ate spagetti yesterday, likes to dance, plays an instrument... whatever the vocabulary or grammar structure you are teaching) |
