Oh, no! I won!
OK, let s try, here is my proposal for tomorrow.
(Remember: no dictionaries are allowed, no cheating, no looking around, no peeking, no peeping...).
This is the challenge:

Tricho = sounds something disapproving and it s related to hair till = is related to time mania = is a strong interest for something
Maybe it s an obsession for hair appearance or going to the hairdresser everyday ???

Can I try? please, please, please, can I...?
OK, here I go:
Tricho probably has something to do with knitting (such a desirable Xmas present when I was a little girl...)
Till, of course, means "even now"
Mania, oh, no!, what an obsession!
TRICHOTILLOMANIA: I wish I could master knitting!

TRICHOTILLOMANIA
Trich = trick
o = oh!
Till = until
o = oh!
Mania = complete obsession
Therefore it s a complete obsession kids have to go trick or treating EVERYDAY!!!!!

TRICHOTILLOMANIA
tri = three chotill = chortle mania = a mass madness
It s an epidemic in which a lot of people start laughing uncontrollably in 3 parts as in "hahaha hahaha hahaha" or "hohoho hahaha hehehe". It s very dangerous and there s no known cure.

I ll have a guess! Tricoto= a peasant form to name the hat of the Spanish police "La Guardia Civil" mania = obsession
so I would say that it is the obsession of dressing as La Guardia Civil that some people still have in Spain (specially in Carnival!)

tricho - tricot (sports jersey)
till - the cash box
mania- a craze
tricholtillomania- the crazed prices that sports teams demand for their team jerseys so they can fill their tills with their fans hard earned money.

It s the sick desire to play tricks in great heat - to the point of going crazy
tric (play tricks) - hot (when it s too hot really) - till (until) - o (oh dear, would you believe it?) - mania (you go crazy)
