You could say this if you answered your mobile phone while travelling home by train.
eg: I won �t be long now I �m on the train home.
But we would say I �m on the train to work.
I �m on the way home. (Not to home)
I �m on the way to work.
I caught/took a bus into town, but I caught/took a train home. |
