Their hair wasn �t shiny, it was lank.
And the worst was that they weren �t friendly creatures, but they were very envious.

It mustn �t be too complicated! Just was / were in all forms! It �s a challenge isn �t it? It is really for elementary level.
So we shall start the story again from your first sentence Frank!
The two sisters were very envious because they were bald! No hair! Their head was like an egg!A white plain ugly white !! yuck! The boys in the village were all in love with the beautiful , girl with red lips and long black hair! They were not interested at all in the 2 ugly sisters! So , one day,...........

" The two nasty twins looked puzzled at each other, one of them asked: "Which assingnment was that? " And the pretty girl said : " The one about famous people, don �t you know? " The twins said something to each other and suddenly, their expressions changed, they smiled and were the kindest of people. One of them said : " Have you finished it? Can you show it to us? " ... |

So here is the whole story! I hope it is of some use to you Sylvie. If it isn"t; never mind, we had a good time! Thank you all for taking part!

so scared that they ran and ran and ran , shouting" help!help!help!"
and they disappeared for ever!
Everyone in the village was very pleased . But there was a problem: The
girl was still a witch!!!
SO one of the most handsome guys in the village said;" will you be my
Valentine?" and wooosh! There was the pretty girl again !
They got married and were very .................. sleepy!!!

Great story LOL I would suggest writing these descriptions using plurals:
her lips were red like raspberry and....... ... her cheeks were rosy like a ripe apple.
her lips were red like raspberries and her cheeks were rosy like ripe apples.
Their head was like an egg! A white plain ugly white
