Me too - after negative sentences?
|
Hello friends, it is after midnight here and I am trying to find an easy "universal" response for any negative statement. I know it s possible to say: A: I love dancing! B: So do I. = = Me too ! Is it possible to say in informal way: A: I don t like spinach! B: Me too. ??? I know the formal way would be " Neither do I." but is there an easy informal way to respond to a negative sentence?
Thanks guys, I am exhausted and my brain stopped thinking...

"Me neither." Thanks Zailda!!! Silly me! Of course I have heard that before...
Is it used with all tenses, modals etc? Is it sort of universal response?
