What do you call a place where people go for a drink and dance at night time?
club? dance club? night club? or else?
In Spanish we call it "discoteca".
Does anybody know it in English please?
Thanks a lot

In Oz we call it a Night Club. In the seventies it was a disco (discotheque) but when disco music went out of fashion they became Night Clubs. They do however still have DJ s. |

It depends on the type of club and music being played.
China: DJ or Disco club (not sure if there is another name for them as well)
Korea: DJ, Disco, Night, Dance club. But there is also the Matchmaker clubs
USA: DJ, Dance or Night club (then there is the bar with the dance floor.) |
