Ha ha Douglas - its what Mr Bean and Scarlett OHara, whilst wickedly entwined in a passionate posture, in the tantalising gardens at Tara, are whispering to each other: "Daaaaaarling, we got ism, havent we" |

Ralph Kramden from the old show The Honey Mooners, would often say: And away we go! Wegotism is the act of saying And away we go. Very simple. Ed |

Clearly you re all mistaken...
Wegotism is a syndrome many spoiled children seem to suffer these days and it is the result of asking for many things and getting them, leading them to this disorder provoked by saying: we wanted (a doll, ice cream a pony, a glock) and "we got it"
My students suffer it a lot

Wegotism:
Expression for whenever anyone is critical of a younger generation s styles or tastes: "That Presley kid is wiggling his hips again." This, of course, refers to the cultural reaction to Elvis Presley, who, when he first performed on television, was not allowed to be shown below the waist for fear that his dancing would lead to loosening of sexual morals due to his sensual movements.
This word also refers to bored teachers sitting through a boring meeting with their boss, feeling impatient, thinking of the thousands of better things to do, wishing it would end quickly, and unconsciously start squirming and wiggling in their seats...
