I looked both of them up and they are both correct, but the one I �ve heard is withdrawl syndrome. |

A person has withdrawal symptoms.
I �ve never heard of withdrawal syndrome - that doesn �t make sense.
It �s not a syndrome - it �s a period of withdrawal when coming down from drug abuse.

A syndrome is a group of symptoms, so we can use withdrawal syndrome to describe the symptoms someone suffers when withdrawing from a particular drug. |
