I was reading Reader �s Digest magazine and i saw a picture with a joke.Honestly I can �t get the meaning. could you help me to finding it out? :
" It was love at first sight, except for his ring tone"

She fell in love with him at first glance except for the ring tone of his phone which she didn �t like. That �s like me saying she was gorgeous except for the, let �s say, earring she was wearing (something inconsequential).
