Sentences students write

Good morning to everyone! One of my students has written several things and I m not sure how to say them. Can you help me?

1. You can see the beach through one of the houses while you are near the mountain.

2. The beach is oly three minutes walking by the village

3. You can get lost in the mountains and take a peaceful and beautiful view of the village

4. walk by the village

5. It isn t an incommunicated place

Thanks in advance and have a great weekend!Smile

I m not quite sure of the meaning you need but look at these:

1. You can see the beach through one of the houses while you are near the mountain.
You can see the beach from one of the houses while you are near the mountain  (near?)
You can see the beach from one of the houses while you are in the mountains.

2. The beach is oly three minutes walking by the village
The beach is only three minutes walk through the village.
The beach is only three minutes walk via the village.

3. You can get lost in the mountains and take a peaceful and beautiful view of the village
You can get lost in the mountains and take in the peaceful and beautiful views of the village

4. walk by the village
Walk past the village
Walk through the village

5. It isn t an incommunicated place
It isn t an isolated place

Thanks in advance and have a great weekend!Smile

I agree with everything Apodo wrote, except the one with "you can get lost in the mountain..."
It brings to mind helpless travellers lost in the mountain, shouting "HELP!"
how about " you can lose yourself in the mountains" instead?

In #2, the student might have meant, "The beach is only a three-minute walk from the village."

#3 can be:You can get lost in the beauty of the mountains and take in a peaceful view of the village.
You can get lost in the beauty of the mountains and take in a view of the peaceful village.
I like the second one best. ED
