I wish we had a day like this in Brazil. We also had an Iron Age that is difficult for the younger generation to understand. I will never forget the 2 weeks I spent in a military prison, hearing shots, people being tortured... And, was I involved in any activity against the government? NO! I was arrested because I knew a former Governor who was against the military government and they thought that I MIGHT have some information! I didn`t know anything!
Anyway....
I`m glad our Argenitian brothers and sisters are celebrating this special day.

We must NOT forget those horrible days...many people disappeared and others were killed... a lot of babies were stolen.... "Madres y abuelas de Plaza de Mayo" are still looking for their sons, daughters and grandchildren.... |
