Just got in doubt with some comparatives. Please, correct me if there is a mistake.
 
bald - balder than
bossy- bossier than
grumpy- grumpier than
kind - kinder than
lazy- lazier than
rude - ruder than
shy- shyer than
witty- wittier than

(actually there are only three common "-yer" adjectives - shyer, greyer and slyer)  :-)
Comparative adjective+ier: busier, crazier, dirtier, drier, earlier, easier, filthier, funnier, happier, heavier, hillier, icier, jollier, lonelier, merrier, naughtier, noisier, tinier, sillier, smellier, zanier?, wavier, prettier, uglier, lovelier,  grumpier, rowdier, tastier, glossier, lumpier?, chillier, handier?, earlier, shinier, saltier,
Comparative adjective+yer: shyer, grayer, greyer, gayer, slyer, wryer?, spryer?
Comparative ending in -e: nicer, wider, wiser, larger, later, freer, safer, finer, braver, stranger, gentler, cuter, (rarer, riper, looser) (beware of eager - more eager - the most eager)
