Help with an expression!

What expression, politically correct, can we use to refer to the "biological necessities" of our pets? For example, "My dog still has to learn to .... " Cats naturally learn to ... in their litter box"
Thanks!!! |

We also use the word "go". Cats naturally learn to go in their litter box. Bruce |

Downunder we tend to use go as Bruce points out.
But also, if the dog is still learning we say he is still being house trained or toilet trained. If the cat is still learning we say toilet trained (but most kittens seem to already know where to go [i.e. litter tray] - it s like it s innate - can t say the same about puppies though - lol) |

You can also use housetrained.
Is your puppy housetrained yet?
Children are toilet trained. |
