Hi there, it depends on what you are talking about. If you are using a cellphone and can �t connect then you would say "There is no reception". If you want to use free wireless internet for example but cannot find it you would say "There is no connection/ There is no access." |

If you are talking about a mobile phone, I would agree that "signal" is the best option: I haven �t got a signal / I have no signal / I can �t get a signal. |

In Australia, if there is no network coverage, then we generally say "there �s no reception". Cheers. |

@ranclaude... In the U.S. if there is no reception we say "Those *&%$@*** why the &*% are we paying so *&%&*$#* much and not getting any *&%$%*& service?" Hope this helps. Ed |
