It could be me - but that sentence doesn t make any sense at all. You can t have that sentence structure - tipped pines????
Where did you read that??????????

It could of course be poetry....sometimes, poetic lisence goes pretty far...
"snow tipped pines" makes sense - sort of (pines trees covered partly in snow)
When I googled the phrase for images I got loads of snow dusted christmas trees (mainly fake ones)
If you are a woodpecker you might be wondering how you can find holes in the snow tipped pines, no? Especially if they are made from plastic
(or if you are not Christian and you are walking around an area heavily decorated for Christmas, you might wonder where to find a spot without all these glittery trees?)
Just trying to find meaning in the phrase....maybe some more context would help.... |

How did any holes in the snow-tipped pines, I find Hatching from the seed of your thin mind, all night
Sentence structure is actually like this:
How did any holes in the snow-tipped pines, I find hatching from the seed of your thin mind, all night
It seems theres a verb missing in the first sentence. I don t think there s a clear-cut explanation here...
Edit: I found another explanation on this website. Someone there thinks it should be
"How did ANIMALS in the snow-tipped pines, I find Hatch IN from the seed of your thin mind, all night?"
(I listened to the song and I think these are are the right lyrics) |
