I was wondering: should I say "I am Libra" or "I am a Libra"?

You should say "I am a Libra." The same goes for Chinese astrology. "I am a Snake." "He is an Ox."

You can �t say "I am Libra." because that would be like saying you are an entire constellation of stars.

You could say:
"I am a LIBRARIAN"
