Which English grammar book do you consider better for a six-year-old student who is just starting learning English?

Do you mean "a coursebook" or "a grammar book"?
I think that a six-year-old does not need a grammar book.
Unfortunately I cannot recommend a coursebook for you.

I agree with Helena, I never did grammar with my young learners and there are not really many coursebooks that I like, so I usually follow my own program. However, I can recommend genkienglish or as for books maybe Primary Colours (cambridge), the starter level. |

I like mm publications, I think "Get Smart" series is an international publication, therefore you can choose from a wide series of books depending on where you want to start. As far as grammar is concerned, there �s nothing better than ESL PRINTABLES!!! You can find anything you want here. Maria

I think that for a six year old, a grammar book is not necessary. I don �t use a book for this age but use colorful worksheets and games.

I use Get Set Go 1 with my six year olds. It is not a grammar book. There is a pupil �s book, a workbook and a cassette/CD. The children have to write or trace single words. I personally think it is important for children to see the written word even if they can �t read. |
