Hi! Can someone tell me if the following two sentences are the same?
1.He is good.
2.He is being good.

Hello there. For me, the two sentences are not quite the same.
1) He is good. The boy is always well-behaved, it �s part of his character.
2) He is being good. The boy is behaving well at the moment, but this isn �t necessarily always the case. The use of the continuous present here indicates that we are talking about an action which is happening right now.

I agree with amyi
1. He is good: means he is a nice person or could it mean that he is good in what he does.
2. He is being good: means the person is behaving well at that time, he probably does not behave like that in some other time.
