Could "birthdays" be considered special celebrations? Birthdays are celebrated worldwide and the "birthday cake" is the typical symbol anyone would recognize to represent a Birthday! Yes, I know what you really are looking for are Holidays, but this birthday idea just popped into my head! LOL!!
