Meyling, I hope this explanation and examples will help you. "Although" is used at the beginning of a clause to show some sort of contradiction. "However" is the same as "but", but it is usually set off by commas and in a different sentence. Here are some examples: Although I normally enjoy detective stories, I found that one a bit predictable. (This is the only correct qnswer to your example) I normally enjoy detective stories, although I found that one a bit predictable. for example
