Hello!
I was searching for a worksheet on the verb there to be and the parts of the house, I came across a few very good ones but I have a doubt.
Is this correct: Downstairs there is a hall, a kitchen, a living room... ?
Thanks in advance for your answers,

Hi! The choice of is or are in this construction depends on the first noun following the construction: There is a table and two chairs in the room. But There are two chairs and a table in the room.
