help

Hi everybody!

I need your help again! I wish I were totally bilingual to know how certain expressions sound to a native English speaker. The thing is I have to explain a picture part of which is damaged, when talking about what experts think that must have been there, would it be right to say "it would correspond to the image of...". The literal translation sounds good in Spanish but I am not sure abourt English.
Thanks in advance!

I am also not bilingual but to me,  "it would correspond to the image of..." sounds correct and natural, depending on the rest of the paragraph. Could you post the whole paragraph for a better idea of the usage?

I agree with red that the phrase sounds good, but it might not express what needs to be said, so we need a context.

Thanks,
Bruce
