Ha-ha in the buff - i. e. wearing no clothes- I figured that one when I was looking up the colour.Thanks, Alex, for the new piece of information, I didnīt know about the Buffs:) Thanks, Lucia:) However I like (and remember better) learning something from a context. I learnt this colour watching a movie Jumping the Broom. The bride was talking her mother-in-law-to-be into trying on a dress she picked for her because she wanted everything in a specific shade of buff:) Sophia
