translation question

Hi everybody,

One of my students is interested in tattooing a sentence in her body. She asked me how to translate the following sentence into English: "Todo gira en torno a la lluvia". I first told her "Everything goes around the rain" but suddenly she told me if you can use the verb "spin". I told her she couldn t, but that I wasn t completely sure. Was I right? Is there a better way to translate the sentence? Thanks.
