Hello, everyone! I 扉e been constantly receiving spam messages in my hotmail account, and it 愒 not unusual, I just delete them and no major problem, but it seems strange that now even here at ESLP I 惴 receiving these spam messages too! Have any of you been receiving them.... or am I the lucky one?!?!? This is the 3rd, the other 2, honestly, I don 愒 even remember the member, I just deleted it, and paid no attention, I sent a pm to Victor, but I just got this today AGAIN... so I thought I 悲 ask here in the forum, what 愀 going on???

Mar! That 愀 what happened to me a fcouple of weeks ago! they got through my mailbox , stole all my addresses and were sending the same messages to all my contacts, asking for money!
Please change your mailbox password! This is the only way not to have trouble! Make sure you don 愒 answer any form asking you for your email and password ! They are very clever: they sent me a form as if it was from my net provider , with the same copied logo asking for renewed information! They even had access to my paypal account and bought something from ebay . So be careful!!

Scam spam is very common and will infiltrate your system in any which way it can.
It愀 important to protect one愀 identity so as to minimise the risk. Therefore, I recommend that the option to add one愀 e-mail address to one愀 member page not be used. Using this option provides an easy gateway to scam spam.
How do you change it? Go to Edit my profile and change your email setting to no for publication.

P.S. I opened a dodgy e-mail a few weeks ago (that I thought it was from a friend and didn愒 go to junk) and it then continued to plaster obscene photos at the top of every e-mail I opened. It was really weird how it did that because it didn愒 register with any of my virus/spyware software when I did a full system scan. Luckily it disappeared. |
