I NEED YOUR HELP!
|
I need some easy activities for a group of students with learning difficulties (aged 15) so that they can use the dictionary in a more efficient way.
Thanks everybody in advance!

you may imagine a game : you give a word to find in the dictionary and the 1st to have found it and have copied the definition(s) errorlessly wins 1 point. If he is able to read correctly these definitions correctly giving examples of his own than add 4 more points.
For example.

Or make 1 of the students find an unknown word he likes a lot and make you sure he has understood the meaning(s) by his writing his own examples. Then make him ask the other students the searching in the dictionary. Once they would have written the definitions make the 1st student check his friends work and explain them the meaning with his examples.

May this help you ?
