Hi everyone,
I �m required to send a weekly letter to parents informing them of what has been covered during the week... Could anyone suggest a sample or help me how I start the letter?

If you have to use time on a weekly letter - just write:
Dear Parents
This week we will be working with verbs in past tense.
We will be doing grammar exercises Monday and Wednesday
We will be reading a chapter each day in our reader. Students should
read at least 15 minutes a day at home.
We will also be practicing our writing by working on short essays about our favorite films.

You don�t need to invent the wheel every week - just give them the basics.
I find weekly letters boring and not many parents read them anyway.
