My friend Rose is a dark-skinned African American. A friend once told me to "see the world through rose colored glasses", so I had a pair made. Now, whenever I put on a pair of Rose-colored glasses it is very dark and I tend to walk into walls, doors, and other obstacles. I dont understand what the big thing is about seeing the world through Rose-colored glasses--to me its just very dark and dangerous.

To see the world through rose-coloured glasses means that the person doesn t want (or even can t) see the dark shades of the life. He s an optimist. |
