Dear friends! Can you share your ideas about teaching English in the kindergarden as the second foreign language. I work with children of 4-6 years old. Thank you a lot for your help! Elena |

Kids like to be on the move so any songs that involve dancing is a winner with my little ones. Also, you can do crafts activities that involve teaching simple and basic vocabulary.
Keep in mind that the attention span is very short so your activities should be as well. If you have an hour with them, break it into 3 types of activities.
I like using material from this site: http://www.first-school.ws/

I have a group of 4-6 year olds and it s so much fun! They love, love, love colouring things in, finding flashcards that I hide around the room and songs that involve dancing, especially if they get to stamp their feet, clap their hands, etc. I use a lot of songs from the Super Simple songs CDs.
Activities should be short as it s hard for them to concentrate. |
