After teaching teenagers for years, I think the best quality of a teacher is pacience  keep calm in every situation, try to control it as much as possible without being too bossy since teenagers are "reactive". You should also make it clear that you are the teacher not their father, mother, friend,... so you have to respect each other in class, I mean: teachers and students, have to respect the members of the class.
It �s also nice to be a motivating teacher with new, fresh ideas and activities so that they have a large range of projects or proposals to be carried out in class. You should also encourage them to propose "motivated" activites to make the class "move" and sympathetic, you should try to understand them even if you don �t agree with their ideas. Not every teenager has a person to trust on and some teachers can help them to "rearrange" some aspects of their life or personality they need, want or shoul change.

Too serious for me! ( How about that � hollier-than-thou" attitude ? Hmm ? Could teachers feel just like workers do ? ie = normal ...)
