I �ve worked on a video from BBCLearning English, and they were talking about the word �smoothie � as a refreshment, and, at the same time they were talking about �smoothie � as an adjective meaning a person who tells nice things to other people so that he can have his/her own benefit, that is the things he wants. I suppose this is quite informal. It was in the section The English we speak.
