Can you tell me the differences between  the coming spring and the upcoming spring ?

as far as I know, you can only say the upcoming spring, the other way is not correct.

The first variant is correct if you say "This coming spring" look here.
I ve never heard of the upcoming spring, though. I did hear upcoming events, elections, seminars, court hearing, etc.
Let s see what the native speakers would say.

Upcoming sounds more grammatical and formal to me. Coming can be used in spoken language.

Hi there

Both are correct and commonly used, sometimes interchangably, the latter used more in formal contexts.

Coming means in the future and upcoming is in the near future.

You can confirm these definitions at my favourite learners online dictionary here

You can see examples of usage here

Cheers
