Hi everybody!
I don t know if it s correct to say:
- Which days of the week do you have English lessons?
or
- Which days of the week you have English lessons?
I have doubts in the possition of "do" or if it s necessary write it in the sentence.
Thanks in advance! |

hi
i think " Which days of the week do you have English lessons?" is quite correct
you cannot make a question without "do" |

In this case "do" functions as any other verb, not as an auxiliary, that s why it is necessary.

(Another sentence which, from my point of view is wrong is your last one, I would say: "I doubt about the position of "do" or if it is necessary to write in the sentence.
Hope it helps

@Yolanda Regarding that last sentence, I wouldn t use the word doubt in this context at all, because it doesn t sound natural. ;-)) Instead I d write: I m not sure about the correct position of the word do.

So, when would you use "doubt" as a verb? I thought this was the perfect context
