Hi,
How r u doing ?
I hope u r fine.
I m confused about this sentence if it is true or false according to this sentence :
Earth is about twice as big as Mars?
Mars is about half as big as Earth.
Can you help ?
Best regards,

Well, Pretty, if your question is mathematical, then I can tell you that yes, these two sentences are equivalent. If A is twice as big as B, then B is half as big as A.

I m not a mathematician but I can answer your first question. I m doing well thank you. But all seriousness aside... Bruce is correct. Both sentences mean the same. If something is twice the size of something the second something is half its size of the first something. As for you third question I think Bruce did help and I m just reiterating what he said so I m not sure if I helped or not. |

I agree with all three of Ed s answers. Oh, Ed, we both overlooked the question in the title. The answer is "I can". Bruce
