do you MAKE a pizza, or BAKE a pizza?
|
Hi everyone, I wish you a great week!
When I was assessing my students exams, I came up with a sentence like " I m cooking pizza" It s definitely wrong, but I m not sure how to correct it, make a pizza or bake a pizza? I realised I ve never used either expression in real life. What do you think?

Make is for everything (with or without heat), cook/bake/boil is just heat. Make is a catch-all phrase. I would say either, but then again, I m a donkey... |

First you make it - then you bake it!

I would accept both (make, bake) as correct--cook is definitely wrong. |

I agree with dareka1 and libertybelle. Make is the whole process. Bake is what you do to it in the oven.
