For example how should you translate the following expressions from Poruguese into English:
-unidade curricular-?
-carga letiva?
-produ��o alimentar-food production?
-gest�o alimentar-food management??
-casos pr�ticos-???
-sentido cr�tico-critical sense?
-gest�o operacional alimentar-??

-produ��o alimentar-food production (difficult without a context)
-gest�o alimentar- food management (difficult without a context: diet management?)
-casos pr�ticos- case study
-sentido cr�tico- Critical thinking
-gest�o operacional alimentar- (difficult without a context: diet operational management?)

-gest�o operacional alimentar- operatinal cathering management

Carga letiva - hours per week/month/course - module/topic/unit
produ��o alimentar- food processing
gest�o alimentar - food management eating management nourishing management
casos praticos - practical cases
sentido critico - critical reasoning critical sense
gest�o operacional alimentar - food operations management
otimiza��o de custos - cost optimization

This translation was intended to help a friend ...who �s going to teach "Gest�o Alimentar"or "Food Management " 3 hours a week in a Portuguese University.
This text stated the course,the time it would last, the objectives/goals of it (eg:to develop critical reasoning....and so on), the evaluation method, etc...
I tried to opt for a free translation in some cases...You certainly helped me a lot!
