In my city the classes will start next 08 th February, so some days before VALENTINE�S DAY, so I always start my annual classes speaking about LOVE & RELATIONSHIPS.
AS A WARM-UP I always use to talk about LOVE - THE BEST KISSES OF THE CINEMA
I start showing them the old movies (very famous ones) and go to the point of today.

in this video I glue all the names of the movies (printed in RED COLOR and with the image of a HEART AND KISSES) to decorate the blackboard and when the students watch the video they must find the correct name of each one in its sequence. I pass the video 3 times only...

Each student receives a lolypop in the format of a RED HEART After this activity. Then I start to talk about Love (PPT file) and they study Vocabulary related to Valentine�s day.
You can choose others that u can find as your favourites.

I used the TV show "Everybody hates Chris", it deals with the topics that you have mentionned. It takes serious issues and approach them in a humorous enjoyable for teens. Plus you can find several episods on YouTube: Good Luck! |
