Hi Colleagues, Which sentence is correct? There are a bed, a colourful carpet and a wardrobe in my bedroom. or There is a bed, a colourful carpet and a wardrobe in my bedroom. I was confused between the two sentences. Great Thanks in advance.

There is a girl and two boys. = There are two boys and a girl. There is + first noun singular There are + first noun plural even There is a lot of milk There are a lot of toys
