Hey guys, I �m working on my project and my professor told me that I have to focus in one theory who support Communicative Approach, (because I want to work with this theory)do you know which one could be the right one??

I think you can work with the social approach of the languageor games as part and parcel of the commmunicative approach also problem solving is also very important.Eliciting opnions and peer learning can also work.I hope that i could understand your question

There are various approaches that can be communicative, read Celce-Murcia or Herrera & Murry. They have pretty nice and comprehensive overviews of various theories.

Task-based instruction as proposed by Skehan and Ellis: these are the characteristics:
Skehan (1996a) 1. Meaning is primary 2. There is some sort of relationship to the real world. 3. Task completion has some priority 4. The assessment of the task performance is in terms of task outcome.
There are lots of definitions for "task-based instruction".
I suggest you to read "Task-Based Language Learning and Teaching" by Rod Ellis. If you want some journals, give me your email and I can give it to you.
