HELP!!!Games and activities for very young learners ( 4-5 years old)
|
Hi mates! I have always worked with ESL learners who read and write. But this year I`m supposed to teach very little kids and I don`t know many games for such young people... I have realised that you need lots of games to change at every moment so that they keep the attention and do not get distracted... The thing is that at the beginning they don`t know much previous knowledge about the target language which makes things even more difficult for me :( Would you please help me? I`d really appreciate it!!! Hope u all have a great year Regards from Chile!!! |

I know this is an old post, but I teach two-year-olds and three-year-olds (reading & writing). Just in case you or anyone else are still searching, I wanted to introduce my thematic units.
I create thematic units with hands-on activities and storybooks that re-enforce vocabulary. Some are also based on songs we normally go to on YouTube. It makes teaching the theme and language quicker because theres a song to go with it.
