Young children do not write so you can work through repetition to teach them anything. You can achieve this by using flashcards to teach the words you want to,songs, rhymes and games.Choose simple things and recycle the vocabulary to ensure that they have learnt it.You can also ask them to draw things you have taught them and of course use "realia".For example,if you teach fruit you can bring real ones or plastic ones.Don t forget to use the same simple instructions. The most important thing is to make them feel loved and secure. All the rest will come in due course.
Here are links for songs

I teach 3 year olds the following: colors, numbers 1 through 20, prepositions of place, shapes, basic verbs (run, swim, sleep, wake up, etc.), vegetables, fruits, adjectives, alphabet (a through z with phonetic sound), and a little bit more that I cannot think of.
