I am writing because I received the message below on my private messenger promoting religious preferences and this is something that should be respected and I dont appreciate the fact that I am getting this type of messages and something should be done about this immediately.

How are you going to be after death ?! Can you believe that this exact system of the universe and all of these great creation will end in nothing...just after death! Have you thought, for a second, How to save your soul from Allah´s punishment?! Haven´t you thought about what is the right religion?! Read ... and think deeply before you answer.. It is religion of Islam. It is the religion that Mohammad-peace upon him- the last prophet, had been sent by. It is the religion that the right Bible- which is not distorted-has preached. Just have a look at The Bible of (Bernaba). Don´t be emstional. Be rational and judge.. Just look..listen...compare..and then judge and say your word. I’ve seen many places of the world on TV screen and few that I’ve visited either for fun or/and business
As you know when we travel we meet a lot of different cultures and people,
I found in many places I’ve been to; that people stereotyped Islam (that´s my religion) they prejudge Muslims from what they see in media incidents.
Allow me to share with you here some information about Jesus Christ,
Muslims believe in Jesus Christ (peace and blessings of (Allah = God) be upon Him as one of the mightiest messengers from (Allah=God),
We believe he is born miraculously by the word of Allah without Father
Like ADAM Been created without father nor mother,
And Marry (mar yam) is his mother the pious, pure female may Allah be pleased with her,
In fact there is a chapter in Quraan titled Marry
Let me quote here these verses:
“BEHOLD! THE ANGELS SAID: O MARY! GOD HATH CHOSEN THEE AND PURIFIED THEE –
CHOSEN THEE ABOVE THE WOMEN OF ALL NATIONS ”
And this Verse About Jesus:
“HE SHALL SPEAK TO THE PEOPLE IN CHILDHOOD AND IN MATURITY, AND SHALL BE (OF THE COMPANY) OF THE RIGHTEOUS.”

Hey Karen,
Many of us have received these messages, all you can do is just ignore them and erase them from your messenger. I did, and I�ve not received anymore than just that one.
Also - you should know that Victor can erase the account but unfortunately, this person(s) could re-sigh up with another account. So, it is best to ignore them... they are just unwanted pests.

As far as these types of messages do not harm me...whey should I be offeneded?
It is your choice to read the messages or ignore them... and it is not a big, dear friend...
and when you post these types of messages, that is mean that you are against the other religous group and they may be offended...keep this in your mind too.

I think you shouldn�t advertise. You say you don�t like, OK, that is up to you, but probably many others don�t appreciate and you posted the whole thing in the message board; I consider that worse than sending it by private messenger.

There was a discussion about this yesterday. Both Ladybird and I were offended by this private email. Granted, it�s easy to delete. However, I was gracious enough to tell this person that she could email me privately about education but not for religion. I received a total of 4 private messages.
Contrary to OLindalima, I don�t mind if Karen posted it on the forum. We have to make it clear that this is an educational website and the member in question needs to know it�s not acceptable to send such private messages. If you delete the message and you don�t say anything anywhere, how will this person know that she should stop?
I have nothing against religion or the choice of religion. I just don�t want my private messages to be about that. That�s all.

These type of messages shouldn�t be sent here! We aren�t either stupid or ignorant! Everyone has his/her own faith! I haven�t received such messages but I would be offended if I did. I belong to this site to exchange materials, ws, ideas, to learn more... Not to be taught about a religion!! This isn�t an advertisement religious site!!
Sorry if I sound rude, but according to my own personal beliefs, this is not acceptable!

And I�m sorry Khadooy but I�m against, not the religion (everone has his/her own) , but these type of messages! I don�t like being brainwashed! I don�t send private messages about Jesus or Buda! If someone wants to be respected, he/she must respect others!!! If they are offended it�s really their problem, not mine!

Thanks for the opinions. First, despite of what everybody has to say this is not a RELIGIOUS WEBSITE only ESL material is supposed to be posted here. Second of all, I am not against anybody�s faith and nobody should be offended because if that is what they think and is what they want to promote might as well be thankful that I posted it if that is what they wanted. And third, I agree with ahmadi86, cgato and manoski , I am here to receive educational messages not religious related, if they want to promote their religion they are welcome to do it in some other websites.
