Hi,
I have finished drugs addiction and I will start teaching tv&media addiction. However I do not know what to do.
I would like to give to the students the necessary vocabulary but in a fun way.
Do you have any sugestions?

I �ve also just finished the topic addictions with my 10th graders.
We worked with:
drugs
alcohol
gambling
gaming
internet
phone/facebook
coffee
sugar and soda pop
Really interesting.
There �s a site called Mary Glasgow.
They have lots of good worksheets on the subject.
You can download 10 worksheets before you have to pay.
I make vocabulary cards and let my students work in pairs.
I also makes crossword puzzles and word searches.
If you start with some easy reading - you can ask the students
to make a vocabulary list of all the words they don �t know and have them
look them up - then make up sentences using these new words.
A good way to make passive words into active words.
